La racha del “Superpeso” llegó a su fin este domingo. Tras la reciente y sorpresiva decisión del Banco de México (Banxico) de recortar la tasa de interés al 6.75%, la moneda mexicana sufrió una fuerte depreciación, permitiendo que el dólar estadounidense rompiera la barrera psicológica de los $18.12 pesos por unidad. Expertos señalan que una “tormenta perfecta” de volatilidad internacional y el recorte doméstico asustaron a los inversionistas, quienes buscaron refugio en el billete verde. Esta devaluación enciende alarmas sobre la inflación para el resto del año.
